I know this may not set well with some, and you know I never say anything controversial, but have you noticed how churches seem to favor feminine themes. Really our church generation sometimes comes across as weak and womanly.
A lot of churches even want their pastor to be soft and dainty when it comes to preaching hard edge truths. They want the rough edges sanded and smooth and painted pink. After all we should talk about emotional hurts, felt needs, you know we are a hurting people.
We have been told that we are to be agreeable, gender neutral, transparent, and sentimental, delicate, and go with the flow in everything we do. As Pastor Phil Johnson puts it, “That sounds like a figure skater not a warrior”.
Men we have been called to be leaders; leaders of our house hold, soldiers; soldiers in God’s army, we are not called to wear tutu’s and be all fufu.
In 1st Corinthians 16:13 Paul says, “Act Like Men”. Men, young and old, women married and single, you will not want to miss the upcoming series as we learn from God what it means to “MAN UP”
