How great would it be to run in and ask God questions about everyday things you face? “God I have been thinking about getting a tattoo, what do you think?” “How do I know if I have committed the unpardonable sin?” Maybe for you it would be “I like this dress, but it is low cut, God how much cleavage is too much?” What about this, “God I got a divorce and have remarried; am I living in adultery?” OR, “Can I spend the night with my girlfriend if we don’t have sex?”

Here is the way it works: The Bible is our standard of truth and so we will always go to the Bible for the answer. Where the Bible speaks clearly, as Disciples of Christ we will stand firm and not waiver.
Because there are questions dealing with some contemporary issues that the Bible doesn’t speak directly to, we will look for PRINCIPLES & PRECEPTS that apply. (Principle/Precept =a truth derived from another fundamental primary truth)
