Jesus never intended for the church to leave the sick and dying and huddle into a safe Christian cultural apart from the world.

Atonement simply means “At-One”. Easter is about being “At-One” with God through Jesus Christ. Starting “GOD” series this Sunday

Someone’s One Day; Easter could be the “One Day” that you invite someone who will experience the love and healing of Jesus

Posted on Thursday, March 22nd, 2012 at 11:41 am in Upcoming Message Videos by Larry

“One day Peter and John were going up to the temple… A man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate… Peter said, “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk”. Instantly…He jumped to his feet and began to walk.” Acts 3:1-8
Easter could be the “One Day” that the special person you invite experiences the love and healing of Jesus.
So write their name on the board, we will pray for them, then you invite them to our 3D Easter Worship Experience.

John Maxwell said, “Teamwork makes the dream work”; What makes the right team work…

Posted on Wednesday, March 14th, 2012 at 7:49 am in Leader To Leader, THINK ON THESE THINGS... by Larry

Leader To Leader…John Maxwell said it best…teamwork makes the dream work.
You can’t do it on your own…it takes the RIGHT team. This is what I have learned comes from working with a great team…
• The right team just doesn’t love the work; they love and TRUST each other. If we don’t love and trust each other the team will not work
• The right team lightens the load for everyone; problems don’t belong to “me” but to “us!”
• The right team has a “hats off” environment where truth is spoken in love which will help prevent each other from making really bad decisions.
• The right great team will embrace uncomfortable conversations and will not drift towards trying to make everyone happy but rather making the right decision.
• The right team will refuse to allow personal preferences to dictate decisions.
• The right team will fight against the status quo!
• The right team will make hard decisions, even when it makes people uncomfortable.
• The right team is always more excited about what is ahead than what is behind!
Leader to Leader I love the team I serve with!

“I can always depend on you”; how often is that said about us?

Posted on Monday, March 12th, 2012 at 9:08 am in THINK ON THESE THINGS... by Larry

Remember: It’s only when you are dependable that people trust you with their most valuable possession…THEMSELVES. It’s good to do a regular dependability test for the big and little things? Ask yourself, “Can I be depended on to show up on time for meetings, to complete my job on time, to be there for my family, friends or co-workers in time of need? Not many things gives more pleasure than to have someone say, “I can always depend on you”…Pastor Larry
